                                                                  ADVENT GIVING

ADVENT GIVING OPPUTUNITIES
Just like at food smorgasbord… you don’t put everything on your plate - only the things you like. Here is your Advent Giving smorgasbord… pick and choose which you would like to give towards Any monetary donation can be placed in the offering plate. Please indicate on your check or on a pew envelope which ministry you are supporting.
ADVENT SPECIAL OFFERING – this will be taken thru the month of December. The Mission Committee has chosen House of Hope and TUMC Child Care.
SR & JR HIGH – Chaddock Home - You may take off one of the tags off the poster Christmas tree by the church office to purchase a specific item. Please bring these items to the church (unwrapped) by 11/30. You may also wish to donate money and the youth will purchase the items requested. The will be going shopping 11/30, however donations will be accepted thru December
TWEENS & CLUES CLUB we will be working on fleece blankets for the Children’s Hospital. There are a lot of children who will spend Christmas in the hospital The blankets will be made by the kids and we need 4 yards. You can danate the fleece and/or monetary donation.
KID’S CLUB – will be making “Nighty, Night” bags for children in homeless shelters. These bags will consist of a canvas bag (decorated by our Kids’ Club students), a fleece blanket, a book and a bedtime prayer. If you are interested in donating money, fleece, or a book to help us create these bags we would greatly appreciate!!! You can either give your donations to Mary Rassi or leave it in the TUMC office.

IMAGINE NO MALARIA – We are selling our homemade misquotes for Christmas this year. You may purchase a misquote in honor of or in remembrance of someone special. Take a mosquito, card and form from the Advent wreath in the Narthex. Then put the form along with your $10 in the offering plate. Send the provided card to the person you are honoring so they know. What a better Christmas gift than to save a life in honor or remembrance of someone.

Blessings!
